Senior Consultant, Haematology & Head Paediatric Haematology Oncology & BMT at Fortis Memorial Research Centre (FMRI), Gurgaon With over 14 years of experience, Dr. Vikas Dua is presently a Senior Haematology Consultant at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurgaon – India’s first integrated Centre of Excellence in Haematology, Paediatric Haematology, and Stem Cell Transplant.

Dr. Dua’s work in the field of Paediatric Haematology Oncology & BMT has been nothing less than exceptional – more than 800 Bone Marrow/ Stem Cell Transplants for Sickle Cell Anaemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Thalassaemia, Leukaemia & other Blood Disorders. With patients from across the globe including Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzebekistan among others, Dr. Dua and his team have successfully done some very rare transplants.

Having started his career from PGIMS, Rohtak, Dr. Dua served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Paediatrics, both in Rohtak and Dehi. He was selected for doing his FNB in Paediatric Haematology Oncology at one of India’s premier institute – Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. In 2014, Dr. Dua completed his Advanced Fellowship in Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplants at NUH, Singapore.

Apart from his practice, Dr. Dua’s interest in imparting knowledge has led him to be a visiting faculty at various National & International Universities. Dr. Dua has also co-authored several publications on Haematology & Haematology Related Malignancies. Apart from this, he has also written several chapters across several books and publications.
